Steller's Fledgling

There is an abundance of birds here on the Palmer Divide, but only one species can claim to be the punk rockers of the bird world.  That title belongs to the Steller's Jay.  This is one of the fledgling of the species.  The parents took care of him on the ground after he was rocking it so hard in the nest, he fell out.  Took two days for him to become flight worthy.  I have this picture printed on glass by fracture and it measures 7 1/8” x 9 1/2”
